When we traveled to China to adopt two years ago, it was with the understanding this was going to be our one and only adoption trip. However there...
We have received our LSC and submitted our final i800 paperwork. We could be traveling in as soon as 8-10 weeks!
The big news for November is that........our dossier when to China on the 21st and we are officially LID (logged in date) as of the 28th! Now we wait, and we wait, and we wait some more. This part of the waiting game is pretty unpredictable because our file has to go through translation, review, and then finally the officially match with Cora. While it doesn’t look like Cora’s orphanage will be impacted, we are continuing to keep the other orphanages in the area in our thoughts. In addition to working on the...

In fact, in April a team of doctors and therapists traveled to the orphanage to train staff on how to work with the children on physical and occupational therapy exercises. That's a huge relief but doesn't ma...
