The big news for November is that........our dossier when to China on the 21st and we are officially LID (logged in date) as of the 28th!  Now we wait, and we wait, and we wait some more.  This part of the waiting game is pretty unpredictable because our file has to go through translation, review, and then finally the officially match with Cora.  The average number of days that this next step is taking seems to be around 52 days according to some of the charts in our adoption groups but we also saw ranges as low as 27 days and as high as 69.  

We held a MudLove bracelet and mug fundraiser.  This one meant a lot to me because every item purchased also meant a week of cleaning water for someone in Africa.  I love that we were able to fundraise to bring Cora home while also supporting a clean water project!  We were also able to mail off another application--for this application we specifically request funding for the orphanage donation.  That would really ease some of the financial challenges for travel since that is one of the most expensive parts of the process given that so many fees are due all at once.  

As always we continue to hold Cora and her caregivers in our thoughts and hope the angels continue to hold her in their arms until we can arrive.
