We received word from the case-worker in Georgia that birth mother had the baby a month ago, and has been leading us all on for the last month or so under the guise of continuing with adoption plan--even as of yesterday. We don't have much info on Siah's infant sister right now but what birth mom is telling the agency is the baby has not yet been born. (So perhaps the inducing did not end up happening last week. But the longer she has in the womb, the better.) There is a Dr. appointment tomorrow so hopefully she'll share an update with us after that. It's been hurry up and wait...and wonder. We're sure birth mo...

We have been in contact with birth mother and it seems things are still a go...just going slower than we anticipated. We just have to be patient! Sloooooowww down there, Herbert the Snail...

It sounds like birth mother is still intending to go through with adoption plan, but no birth yet--though birth process has been initiated. Please pray for birth mother and baby, for safe delivery, comforted hearts. Especially during COVID times, it is tragically hard to give birth, as there are draconian limits on who can be present. In a situation like this, it may mean giving birth completel...
