It sounds like birth mother is still intending to go through with adoption plan, but no birth yet--though birth process has been initiated. Please pray for birth mother and baby, for safe delivery, comforted hearts. Especially during COVID times, it is tragically hard to give birth, as there are draconian limits on who can be present. In a situation like this, it may mean giving birth completely alone, without support, and transferring care of baby in the hospital parking lot. Heartbreaking, so please pray in this regard, for comfort and reassurance for birth mom, wisdom and compassion for her caseworker.
