Rachel is Prospere's younger sister. She is newer to the Freedom House. Rachel is always smiling and happy to be a part of anything going on. We are excited to get to learn more about her!

Rachel is from a very rural area in the mountains called Laborde. Many of the children at the Freedom House are from this area. This area had no schools, churches or medical facilities. The poverty level is by far the worst our Haitian missionaries had ever seen. Many of the children in this area were being used as slaves (restaveks) or living in extreme life threatening poverty. Prior to coming to the Freedom House Rachel had been living in another children's home for a year that had to close it's doors. Her older brother, Prospere, lives at the Freedom House and is very happy to be reunited with his sister. Rachel now has the opportunity to get an education and has hope for a bright future!

As part of our sponsorship family, you can help love, feed, and care for these precious children.

GETTING STARTED:

Each child needs $200 per month to provide their basic needs.

Family Tree Sponsorship -

This sponsorship is divided into (4) $50 increments allowing multiple sponsors per child

Full sponsorship - 

A donation of $200 per month will completely fund your sponsored child’s basic needs.
