"N" is amazing at learning English!  She's doing so well and adjusting so quickly.  She reports that she was so scared to come to America, as she would not know how to communicate with us.  Google translate has been a great tool for us!  We have 8 days left before she takes off.  She leaves the 29th.  She is already asking how many days and gets sad when we tell her how many are left.  She visi...

"N" is doing fabulous!  She told us that she knew 1 month before coming to America and began to learn English.  Her language is greatly improving over the last 12 days!  Russian is not an easy language to learn either.  She has been teaching us short phrases here and there, but rolling "r's" are hard!  HA!  She has enjoyed hiking, horseback riding, go-karts, swimming, American documentaries and...

Thank you all for donating towards the adoption of "N" in Eastern Europe.  The first $1000 for part of the home study will be transferred to Nightlight soon.  We are praying about how to proceed in raising the other money that will be due soon after.  Criminal background check forms are being sent today.  Fingerprints will be submitted as early as tomorrow.  Thank you all for your continued sup...
