Shekina lives in rural Kenya and has cerebal palsy.

On October 16th, 2024, residents in Vihiga County found an abandoned child that was in a sack at the foot of Maragoli hills. The local authorities notified the police. The child was rescued and taken to hospital since she had been left in the rain. The police called Judith the same day, indicating  they had confirmed she had Cerebral Palsy. Judith asked the doctors to examine her and keep her in the hospital till she was able to come home to CDFI property. On Monday October 21st, 2024, Shekina was released from the hospital. She is safe at CDFI property under the care of our loving staff. Shekina loves attention, food and television. Sponsorship will mean a lot to Shekina and the CDFI staff.
