Maxwell Wasonga lives with his step-aunt since his parents depend on family members for support. The family lives in a house with running water and use solar for lighting. Maxwell sleeps under a mosquito net on a mattress.

Maxwel Wasonga was born on November 27th, 2015. He lives with his step-aunt about 30 minutes away from school. Maxwell’s parents are both mentally unwell and depend on family members for support. Two of his older siblings also suffer from mental illness and live in the village with the parents. The aunt has older children both in high school and college and they live in a permanent house with running water in the compound. They have solar kit for lighting and cook with both charcoal and firewood. Maxwel sleeps on a mattress under a mosquito net. He has great potential of doing well at CGA and the aunt is grateful for the opportunity.
