Jaylen Belen was born on August 25, 2020. She joined the C.G.A. Nursery (PP1) class in January 2025. Jaylen is the second-born in a family of two children and has an older brother who also attends C.G.A. Both her parents are teachers, with her mother serving at C.G.A. The family resides in their own two-bedroom permanent house, located about a 10-minute walk from the school. Their home has treated running water for drinking and other household uses, electricity and solar power for lighting, and they cook using either charcoal or gas. Jaylen is a bright and cheerful girl who looks forward to walking to school with her mother every day.
