Atoke Monica was born in 2005. She joined the Path International Community Based Care Program in 2019.

Monica lives in a rural village in Northern Uganda with her uncle and other members of her extended family. She studies at Otino Waa Primary School. Thanks to the CBC program, she will be able to continue to live with her family while gaining a quality education, consistent nutrition, and the medical care she needs. The family also receives care, encouragement, training opportunities, emergency assistance, medical access, and the knowledge that they are no longer alone.
