Akello Miriam was born in 2008. She joined the Path International Community Based Care Program in 2018.

Akello Miriam is a part of the first group of Community Based Care students. Miriam lives in Lela Village with her mother and 5 siblings. Miriam and her older brother Jimmy were both selected to join Otino Waa. Miriam is enjoying school and can often be found with a big smile on her face. Learning English has been a challenge, but Miriam has a great interest in learning! She is more engaging with her family and neighbors since starting school. As of 2018, Miriam would like to be a mathematics teacher when she grows up.
