Each year, NLEC shelters serve hundreds of men, women and children promoting positive interactions, resource referrals, and temporary shelter. Our goal is to provide a nurturing, supportive environment free of drugs and alcohol abuse and of physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

We are able to provide clean clothes, hygiene items, laundry facilities and non-perishable food to meet our clients immediate needs.  At some locations, before resting comfortably in bed for the night, each guest is served a delicious dinner, a hot shower and the opportunity to participate in a gospel chapel service.  Some locations also have resources to help with finding jobs, places to live and/or connection with medical facilities.
