Loaves and Fishes International's mission is to extend the Father's love to children born with significant medical and special needs. It is our desire that every child will experience the love of a mother and father in a place they can call home.
Welcome to Hidden Treasures Love-a-Child sponsorship program! We are so excited to provide all who have a heart to follow the mandate given in James 1:27 their opportunity to satisfy the heart of God. The literal translation of this passage of scripture goes something like this, "Pure religion (worship) in the sight of our God and Father is to visit (care for in a transformative manner) orphans and widows in their distress (pressing needs) which is the equivalent of (releases grace for) keeping oneself unstained by the world." How amazing is it that we believers, not by our perfection, but by honoring Father God's heart of love for children in need, can enter into a most pure from of worship. We here at HTH have discovered the overwhelming joy of this great ministry and we are now offering this opportunity to others! Make no mistake, this is not a fundraiser. What we are doing is giving an opportunity for those with the God-given desire to fulfill this important role of every believer.
Hidden Treasures Home is a unique home for orphaned children presenting with significant special needs. We have the unique opportunity to work closely with government officials in China who allow us to bring children into our home that are most at risk, most in need, and most over-looked. These beautiful children come to us in great need of restorative and corrective surgeries, specialized equipment, and low child-to-caregiver ratios by staff we train here ourselves. At our home, every child receives nutritional, medical, educational, and specialized therapeutic care. We are much more than a medical facility. Our goal is to meet each child's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This is forever-home for all the precious children entrusted to us for as long as the need presents (until they are adopted).
Because of the nature of the care they receive, the cost per child is higher than other orphan care programs. Hidden Treasures Love-a-Child sponsorship program offers a dynamic opportunity for individuals, families, churches, and businesses to effectively impact orphaned special needs children in a very real and tangible life-giving way - body, soul, and spirit. Sponsoring one child for only $40 monthly helps to provide high-quality long-term holistic care in a safe and nurturing environment. Transformation takes place one individual at a time.
