Dear Friends,
As we head back to Ukraine this Christmas, I would like to bless the baby orphanage in Zaporozhye with a large donation of items they need.
The Solnishko (Sun) Orphanage is home to approximately 280 children. Many of these kids have serious special needs, in addition to the lack of parents or parental support. They are constantly in needs of basics like clothes and food. Here is a list of their current needs:
List of needed items:
· Big washing machine (for 20 kg)
· Children's clothes (1 month – 4 years old)
· Children's shoes
· Socks, pampers, swaddling bands, pants
· Linen
· Cots and other furniture
· Fruits and vegetables
· Dairy products, child’s foods
Our dollar is very strong in Ukraine right now. The exchange rate is 27/1. It is better to donate money as I can purchase these items in country at a lower cost, which means our money will go a lot farther. Also, the cost to ship or bring extra luggage would take money from things they actually need.
I'm asking everyone if they would donate $10. This is the equivalent of 270 hryvnia.
Please help to bless these children with the things that they need. Their biggest need is to have a family, but at least let's help take care of them where they're at.
Please note: all money donated will go directly to buying necessities for the orphanage. I will also have a card with every person's name and location who donates to give with the gifts to the orphanage, so they can see all who have contributed. ❤️
God Bless!!
