Our dossier was sent to China on Friday!!  This is a huge milestone, and the compilation of months of gathering official documents, fingerprints, a home study, and having them notarized, certified by the respective state, authenticated by the U.S. government, and finally sealed by the Chinese consulate.  Next step: China will log-in our dossier when they receive it, and then we start the approv...

Hurry Up and Wait, the unofficial motto of the US government.Our application to USCIS was logged in as "received" on October 25th, and yesterday we got our fingerprints taken for it. We know from a Facebook group we're a part of that these approvals are taking 75+ days to come through.  Ugh, sooooooo long. Last Friday, we sent off are immigration paperwork. Now we have to wait for approval, which is typically 60 days.  Wait times are longer than normal, so we are praying that it goes quicker than expected. Would you join us in praying?
