Those living in remote villages along the Napo River in Peru are hard pressed to obtain reading glasses they need in order to perform their daily tasks.  Basic tasks like sewing, mending, repairs, and reading.  With their eyesight diminishing, so do their chances of providing essential things for their family. 

Reading glasses can help with many problems that require reading and these types of close handwork. Through the simple gift of seeing more clearly with the use of eyeglasses, we can improve the quality of life for these individuals, essentially giving back their lives, dignity, and ability to provide for their families.

ONE PAIR OF THESE EYEGLASSES CAN IMPACT AN ENTIRE FAMILY.

These funds will enable us to purchase 400 pairs of eyeglasses which we can use to take to four different villages we will work in along this river.



Volunteers, with the aid of a simple eye chart, can safely and easily fit these simple reading glasses.
