We are getting close to receiving our travel approval. On Dec. 28 we got our Letter of Acceptance from China, they said, "Yes!" Then our I-800 was been approved, meaning our little girl has permission to immigrate to the United States as our daughter. Hopefully by the end of February, we will have our travel approval and be looking at making travel plans.
On Dec. 22 the China database showed that we are now approved to adopt "little sister" and a hard copy of the letter is on its way in the mail. We are now submitting the last of our immigration paperwork and then we will be making travel plans! We are thinking we will be traveling in March or April.
Our dossier was sent to China and logged in mid November. It has been translated and is in the review stage, as of today, Dec. 4.
