Our visit to our daughter’s country went great, it’s a lovely place to visit, and the people are friendly. The food was fresh, local, and delicious. Our daughter is awesome, she has a ton of potential but needs time and care to fulfill that potential that her current carers simply cannot provide while caring for half-a-dozen or so other children with their own needs. We hope to have her home by the end of the year and are getting our apartment and her room ready for her arrival.
We have one more set of fees coming in a few weeks, then we’ll be fundraising for our pickup trip, in country fees, and whatever equipment she might need that insurance might not be willing to give her when she needs it.
