We have wanted children since we were first married, but sadly, after suffering a miscarriage, we were told we are unable to have a biological child. We felt hopeless until we found a sweet little girl in Eastern Europe waiting for her forever family. “Greta” was born very prematurely and has retinopathy of prematurity, resulting in almost total blindness, stable hydrocephalus, developmental delays, and possibly CP. She has been in orphanage care since she left the hospital as an infant and has never known what it's like to be in a loving family.

We are getting ready to travel to meet our daughter for the first time. She is described as lively and loving and we think she will be the perfect addition to our family.
