Dear Friends and Family, 

THANK YOU! Because of you all, we're able to send SEVEN kids to camp this June (yes, I can do math, one person gave us money but not through Pure Charity).
We feel so loved and encouraged by your generosity! We set our goal at thirty, and honestly thought if we could get one camper sponsored it would be a victory. So seven is just awesome!! Seeing 21 different people from all over the world come together to send these seven kids to camp is super inspiring for us! 

This camp is close to our hearts, because David and I have helped to plan and lead it for the past 3 years. This year we won't be there in person because we'll be back in the States. It is such a wonderful "going away" present to be able to give iThemba-- the knowledge that already we have seven campers sponsored for this camp! 

In June, we'll get photographs of the children that we've sponsored, and thank you notes that they write to us from camp. I'd love to share them with you, so you can "meet" the children whose lives you're impacting.  All of these children live in the community of Sweetwaters, the semi-rural township where David and I are volunteering this year. 

I think between me and my parents, we'll be able to find email addresses to send you photos-- but if you don't hear from me, it's probably because I can't find your email. :)
