About this Fundraiser

Dear Friends,

Ever since Christ transformed my life in college I have been burdened by the fact that there are billions of people who live and die without ever hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that all people have knowledge of God (Romans 1:18-20), all people have chosen to reject God and worship lesser things (Romans 1:21-25), and therefore all people stand condemned before God. However, God loves his people and does not want them to perish (1 Timothy 2:4). He is full of grace and mercy and He has made a way for any one of us to be forgiven of all of our sin. Jesus lived the perfect life we could not live, died the death that we deserved to die, and three days later rose from the grave conquering sin and death so that we would be reconciled to God. In order to believe this message, one must hear and respond to it (Romans 10:9-17).

In light of this reality, I want to leverage my life to get the gospel to where it’s not, and so I have been a part of a Goer Missional Community at The Village Church in Flower Mound that focuses on loving God, loving our neighbors, and loving the nations. We have learned and practiced tools for sharing the Gospel in everyday life and spent hours praying together for God to move among our neighborhoods and the nations. The goal is to be equipped to take the Gospel to people in the world who have no access (the unreached) and equip and mobilize other believers to do the same.

As a part of this group, we have the opportunity to take a vision trip to the Middle East from February 22 through March 2. This location is strategic for several reasons: The Village Church has a vision to send people to work among Muslims in the Middle East, there are three missionary teams in the area that we will have an opportunity to meet and learn from, and we will have the chance to engage refugees with the hope of Jesus. We are hopeful that the Lord will bring clarity and direction regarding next steps to take in bringing the Gospel to the unreached!

Would you consider joyfully partnering with me to take the gospel to where it’s not? The cost I am raising to go to the Middle East is $1,800, and I humbly ask that you prayerfully consider helping me reach this goal. More than anything, though, please pray for my team and for the hearts of every individual we encounter. Pray we are a blessing to the long-term teams and that the Lord would give us wisdom regarding next steps. We believe the Lord has mighty plans for our time in Lebanon, and we want you to be a part of it!

Our funds are due in total on February 24. If you would like to help financially, all donations are 100% tax-deductible, and the best way is to donate online at https://www.purecharity.com/zachlindme19

I look forward to reaching out and updating you on what God is leading me into. If you’re interested in learning more about our trip, we would love to chat with you and can be reached at 214-707-3985 or hammerheel@gmail.com. Thank you for your prayers!

Blessings,

Zach Lind
