Phase 4 Goal: $20,000
These funds will do the following:
- Purchase a playground like the one above
- Provide the first ever playground to our new island
- Cover the cost of customs
- Cover the cost of international and domestic shipping
The Gift for the Island: A Playground
A key value for our work is to bless the entire community we are part of. Through many conversations with local leadership we have found that a playground is the ideal gift to the community in that it is a gift that equally blesses the entire village.
We have experience providing a central playground on our current island and it’s incredible to see how kids and families are constantly using the space. It becomes an ongoing and public reminder that we are there to work for and with the people.
It is common on our hatchery island to see kids using the playground from sunrise to sunset, and even beyond!
Your donations in this phase go directly to the purchase and shipping of a playground, just like the picture above.
