New Farm Site Acquisition & Lease

For our work to continue, we need to acquire a new lagoon farm.  This is both because we need more space and we need better farming conditions than we currently have.  We have learned much in the past few years about the ideal farming environment. And we believe we have found the right lagoon!

After many survey and research trips, we have found a lagoon of a nearby village island and it has great farming conditions.

We are excited that the time has come for us to multiply our impact by creating a second community lagoon farm.  Creating a new farm gives us presence in a new island community, allows us to employ unemployed folks desirous of work, and gives our sea cucumbers an ideal farm environment.

Acquiring the farm is a tricky process with a few key steps

• Create a new partnership with the local island:  ACCOMPLISHED!
• Create a new agreement with the central government 
• Undergo proper environmental assessments
• Receive all required approvals and licenses for the new site
