Perseverance, a perfect word to describe Evilson Meronvil, a 9th grader in the World Wide Village school in Williamson. Growing up in poverty in the mountains, he moved to Williamson to have the opportunity to finish school. Even though he has had no family able to support him, he has continued to persevere and succeed in school. Evilson’s love for the Lord is so evident and we know God has big plans for this young man.
