In the beginning of their life together, even before marriage, John and Rebecca shared a dream of adoption. Their hearts were drawn to the child least likely to be adopted - an African American boy. That dream has remained steadfast over the years.
John and Rebecca are blessed with three beautiful girls - Lila, Hali & Ella, affectionately known as the Blondetourage. They are also mommy and daddy to two stillborn sons, Owen and Levi who live triumphantly in the arms of Jesus.
John, Rebecca and the girls have been praying and waiting for this little boy to enter their lives for years. Trusting in God's perfect timing, they are now confident that the time to begin the journey to complete their family is now. They cannot wait to see God's faithfulness revealed in the adoption process and hope to tell His story as God weaves theirs.
John and Rebecca envision becoming the adoptive parents of a little boy with dark skin born locally in the Carolinas. They hope to honor their son's birth parents who would so courageously bring to life a child they cannot themselves keep. Their hope is that the work God is doing in this process will positively impact their community and the community of the birth parents.
Please share in this journey by supporting the Woodman family with prayer and/or by a financial contribution. All donations go directly to Christian Adoption Services.
