Bonjou! (Hello)

For five years I've had a vision of visiting Haiti, which is now coming into full focus.  I consider myself a world traveler, (to date I have been privileged to set foot on 3 continents and 10 countries) but this trip is different.  This trip is not about sight-seeing or experiencing Caribbean culture, or going on a getaway vacation with family or friends.  This trip not about me or for my benefit, this trip is about changing lives for eternity.

I attend CrossIine church where we support The Global Mission/Chanje Movement in
Port-au-Prince by sending dozens of teams each year to strengthen and rebuild the country through medical services, orphanages, construction projects, street evangelism, and leadership conferences.  As you may know, Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere devastated by a massive earthquake and cholera epidemic in 2010.  While there, I will be part of a team caring for men, women, and children-- meeting their practical needs with resources but also sharing with them real hope in the truth and love of Jesus.  I am stepping out in big faith to go on this mission!
