In 2017 God led me to go to Paraguay for a week. That changed my perspective on evangelism. If I could go such a great distance to South America, visit the barrios, and share my story of my encounter with Jesus with strangers, I could do that back home. The fervor has endured, and I have looked for everyday opportunities to share the life-saving gospel of Jesus Christ. This trip led me to desire to make it a habit of accompanying my church on their short-term mission trips. With COVID, these opportunities were paused, but prayer for the people of Paraguay has continued. God has opened the way for us to return to Paraguay this year. E3 missions is trying to access a part of Paraguay that has not been regularly visited by mission groups. This adds an additional level of excitement.

In this trip, we will again be supporting the efforts of Paraguayan Christians to reach their community for Christ and plant a new church. We will be providing soul medicine within medical clinics in 5 towns. The last time we went, the medical and soul clinics took place in local public schools, during school hours. Some schools even bussed students to a gospel assembly at a nearby shelter for abused women and children. This simply demonstrates the hunger and thirst for the gospel.

We will leave the U.S. on June 24 and arrive back home on July 3. The cost of the trip is $2,995, which includes airfare, visas, lodging and meals, transportation, insurance, and resources.
