Hi! We&'re Dwight & Linny Saunders. We&'ve been married 37 years & have 12 treasures {so far!} - 9 of the 12 were lovingly gathered from around the world. Our three bio kids are mixed up in our sweet pile. We also have 7 grandtreasures (three of whom were also adopted!) After senior pastoring for 20+ years, we moved to Arizona so our youngest, Ruby {brought home from Uganda} could be near a neurosurgeon. Ruby&'s now had 5 brain surgeries! Immediately after moving to Phoenix, we began a non-profit ministry, International Voice of the Orphan {IVO.global} which serves orphans in Uganda and India. IVO has fed over 500,000 meals to orphans and vulnerable children as well as provided life-saving surgeries for orphans & vulnerable children. We are convinced that God&'s heart is for the orphan and He sets the lonely in families when we open our hearts and homes. In February the Lord led us to a handsome little fellow who is 13. He has Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheelchair. Our youngest, Ruby, (who is medically fragile and a quadriplegic} is also in a wheelchair! We&'ve named him Vernon {a family name}! Two months ago the Lord led us to a little 3 year old girl {also waiting in China} with Down Syndrome and heart disease. We&'ve named her Pearl Bonnie - because she is "highly prized and beautiful!" We believe we will be traveling to China for our son and daughter in February or March. Would you be willing to help us bring Vernon and Pearl home??
