Between March 1st and May 29th, 2024, heavy rains and floods resulted in 315 deaths, 188 injuries, and 38 missing people. More than 306,520 people (61,304 families) displaced. Tropical Storm Ialy further exacerbated the situation, causing additional fatalities and injuries. Health facilities have been flooded, and the rise of respiratory infection sand waterborne illnesses has been noted. 

Foursquare National Leader, Bishop Joseph Ondicho, has requested assistance from FDR Medical to serve communities devastated by recent rains and flooding in Kenya. FDR Medical will partner with the Kenyan Foursquare Church and local medical professionals to serve these affected communities. 

This 8-day deployment will arrive in Nairobi by June 22-23rd and depart between June 29th-July 1st. 

Volunteers are only responsible for the cost of roundtrip airfare, as a generous donation from a US Foursquare Church will cover field expenses.
