Thank you for taking the time to read about our adoption. We are the Jenkins family. Chuck and I (Naomi) have been married for 17 years and we have four children. Anika is 18 years old, Charlie & Sophie are 11 years old, and Benjamin is 8 years old. This past October we added a yellow lab puppy to our family whose name is Ruby.
Chuck works in the oil industry and I am a stay at home mom who helps coordinate an adoptive/foster ministry at our church. Our family enjoys playing soccer, camping, hunting, fishing, small group Bible studies, playing board games, spending time on the coast, and hosting family barbecues.
Below you will find the Christmas letter we are enclosing with our card to friends and family. This letter gives a lot of information about how we have come to be the family for Hope, our daughter waiting in China.
A few things that are not in the letter but you might be interested in:
* Our adopting agency is Children's House International. If you follow them on Facebook you may have been wondering who is the family adopting "Breezy"? (Breezy is the temporary name CHI is using for her protection.) We are the family and are planning to name her Hope.
* Our timeline could go quickly if we can get the USA to agree to expedite. Because Hope has some medical needs and she is getting close to aging out in China's system, China will most likely be willing to expedite Hope's paperwork. We will see if the USA will do this as well. This means our timeline for Hope coming home could be anywhere from five months to one year.

Thank you so much for giving!
