About this Fundraiser

HERE WE GROW AGAIN!

We are the Teller Family {Roger & Heather, Jack, Lucy, Clara, Macie and Robel.}

Our adoption story began two years ago this May, when we brought our son Robel home from Ethiopia after a two year process.  We expected that our home, family and community would be such a blessing to Robel, however, we did not anticipate how much of a blessing Robel would become to our family and our community in so many unseen and special ways.  Adoption has opened our eyes and hearts in ways we could never have imagined.  We knew our story of growing our family wouldn't end there. Our hearts went out to all of the other beautiful children of Ethiopia that needed a home.  We knew we would be back!  After much prayer, many conversations and putting all of our faith in God and His divine plan for our family, here we grow again!  "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11

It didn't take long before we felt God leading our hearts to adopt again.  We started the paperwork process to adopt another child.  Before we knew it, however, we came across a brother and a sister (A & D) in need a family.  Their precious smiles and beautiful eyes melted our hearts.  We knew without a doubt that God put these children before us!  I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14: 18

We are now moving into the home stretch and are preparing to bring our children home from Ethiopia.  Friends and family have been asking for quite some time what they can do to help. So, we wanted to share a couple of ways that we have found that people can help.

 First and foremost, PRAY!  Pray that the Lord keep our children safe and out of harms way until we are able to bring them home.  Pray that our remaining process continues to move swiftly so we can get a court date and travel to Ethiopia soon!  Pray for our family as we grow and adjust to being a family of nine.

 Second, If you are an online shopper, we recently learned about Pure Charity.  This is a great website that allows you to shop and help us in the process!  If you do your online shopping through this page, on our link, each purchase gives a percentage to our adoption!  As you can see this website has many places you can shop!  All money raised will all be sent to our adoption agency and used toward our adoption costs!  Every little bit helps!

 If you don't shop online, this website also allows the opportunity to make a tax deductible donation in our name!

Please feel free to share this link with anyone you wish.  We love to spread the word and build awareness of the need for adoption and orphan care.

We are greatly humbled by all of the prayers, support and well wishes we have received!  We cannot wait to bring A & D home to this amazing community we live in!

Thank you for your support!

"And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me." Matthew 18:5
