Hello we are the Lara family or as our three sons call us "Team Lara" (picture cheering and hands being raised in the air for added effect). Our names are Ben and Naomi, our sons are Luke (7), Zachariah (5), and Benjean (3). Recently we have decided to say yes to something that has been growing in our hearts for awhile... we have decided to adopt a child with special needs. At this point we don&'t know who she is or what her needs are but our hearts are open and we are trusting God that He will bring us the child that he has for our family and equip to raise her in a home filled with security and love and three big brothers. A number of people have asked us how they might join us in this journey and we would say first and foremost please support us in prayer we will have decisions to make and mountains to climb that at this point seem daunting, but we have resigned ourselves to trust, have faith, walk where we are led and enjoy the journey.
