Fun Fact: There are 18 million people currently living in the Amhara region of Ethiopia.
Not So Fun Fact: Most of these people live in poverty. Many rural families in Amhara have been known to send their children - mostly teenagers - to neighboring countries and large cities to be “domestic servants.”
These children are often trafficked as sex slaves and are never seen by their families again.
I am partnering with a team from e3 Partners and embarking on a 10-day mission trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to visit with the people, to share the love of Christ, and to educate rural villagers about the sex trafficking industry. As these villagers are desperately poor, we will also be gifting Rhode Island Red Hens to each household. These hens have excellent egg-laying capabilities and bring sustainability to the families. In order to make this mission possible, we will need support through prayer and finances. We are asking you to please consider how you can partner with us. Each of us has a financial requirement of $3,465.00. Any donation we receive will go toward the flight, food, and lodging. Thank you for partnering with me! I couldn't do it without you.
