Adoption is never clear cut and neatly wrapped. After two years of pursuing adoption through one agency (and being told it could still take many more years), we met a child we fell in love with while visiting Ethiopia. We had to switch agencies if we were going to pursue her adopting her. With much prayer and seeking God, we stepped out in faith and switching losing most of the money we had put into the adoption and starting the paperwork over. It feel scary at times, but we strongly believe that this is what God is asking us to do.
