Hey guys! First of all thank you SO much for considering supporting me financially as I get to be part of an incredible team that God is going to use to do great things in Ethiopia this summer! Just to let you in on my life and how I've end up here here's how God has been working in my life over the last year. 

In January of 2017 I was struggling to find consistent community of people to walk with me through life as I had completed my first year out of college working full time. I decided to checkout Watermark community church with a close friend of mine and here we found incredible opportunities to get plugged into a church body that was actively serving the community around it, and committed to bringing community to it's members. Shortly after I was plugged into a community group with 7 other guys my age that had the same desire to link arms and pursue Christ together as we enter the beginning of our careers and establish ourselves as young men trying to be the men God call us to be. Towards the end of 2017 I was able to jump on board and serve with the young adult ministry called the Porch that's held on Tuesday nights at Watermark. While serving at the Porch I've learned more about the urgency of God's call to all believers to go and make disciples of every nation (Matthew 19). Through the friends I began to serve with at the Porch I learned about the opportunity to take part in this calling in Ethiopia where Watermark has been sending many young adults for several years. Hearing about this reminded me of my trips to Guatemala in college where I was part of 2 different teams that were able to serve people and share the hope that we have in Christ with them. Now I've been given the opportunity to go to Ethiopia and share the hope I have in Christ with people in some of the villages! 

God has given me the time and opportunity to be part of a team that's going to be His hands and feet in a part of the world that doesn't know the hope that we have in Christ, or the forgiveness of sins that He offers us through faith. The next step is providing the means through financial support. I have a pretty hefty goal to reach in order to fund this trip, and I would SO appreciate you join with me in God's call to go and make disciples by helping me reach my financial goal for this trip.  Matthew 6:19-21 tells us "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
