BIG NEWS!!!!!  I will be serving in the Dominican Republic this May planting churches.  I'm so excited about sharing the Gospel with others, and I would like to invite you to share in this excitement with me! I am asking for you to prayerfully consider if the Lord would have you to partner with me for this mission trip. 

I started this fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that I need for my mission to the Dominican Republic. I have a one time single donations goal of $2600 that will cover my cost of planting churches in the Dominican for two weeks. The goal is to give as many  opportunities as possible to my family and friends to support me so that the cost is spread amongst us all.   It's been my privilege to have spent a week in Santa Domingo last November to help lay the foundation for many more groups to come and help with the process of planting churches among the the Dominicans.

 One thing that is unique about these churches is that we are planting them in the actual villages. Each church will be led by a group of Dominicans that will be caring for the people from the very first day. Our task will be to support them in their initial launch as well as providing evangelistic training and medical support for each of the church plants.  I will be traveling down this May taking with me a group of young adults from Decatur Baptist Church. 

For most of this group it will be their first International mission experience. I believe one of the great ways to inspire young people to a life of Gospel ministry is to get them on the field away from their own cultural environment. I believe this missionary journey will be not only a great time of ministering to the people of the Dominican Republic but also a great opportunity of training our young people in sharing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
