Hello, sweet family and friends!

You may or may not have heard by now, but I have some really exciting news!! I have the incredible opportunity to partner with Beautiful Feet, a non-profit organization fighting to end physical and spiritual poverty, this summer in Cristo Rey, Nicaragua! Cristo Rey is one of the poorest cities in Nicaragua and is often referred to as a "dump village." This means that people are literally living amongst garbage, doing their best to survive day to day. This summer, I have an opportunity to visit these people and tell them the good news that Jesus is alive, and that he cares for them! We will be working with Beautiful Feet's child sponsorship program-helping children get the food, clothing, education and love that they need and are so desperately hoping for. Here's the best part--we will even be working with Deaf children in the area!!! how cool is that?!?!

In order to go on this trip, I need to raise $1,400. A few people have been extraordinarily generous so far, and am currently about $900 away from my goal. If you feel compelled at all to help fund me, I would appreciate it more than you know! The Lord put Cristo Rey on my heart a few months ago, and I could not be more excited to get down there and start working. There are some photos attached to this email if you want to check them out!

If you would also PLEASE partner with me in praying for the people of Cristo Rey. Of course, we want to meet their physical needs, but even more than that, we want to treat their greatest need- the need to know the love of Jesus Christ. My team and I are so excited, and I am so thankful for what each of you means to me everyday.
