So much has changed in the last few weeks, and we need each other more than ever. We have had to postpone both of our spring races, the Nutty Runner 5K and the family-favorite Cow Paddy Run, and we are so sad that we don't get to run with you. While other races quickly go virtual, there are many factors that make it more challenging to move our races online. Many of our young runners participate as part of a school running club with help from their school, coach, and community and don't have the resources or support that would enable a safe run on their own. We certainly encourage physically distant recreation and fitness at this time, but we cannot in good conscience add to the burden that so many families already face.

We are doing everything we can to ensure that we can gather together to celebrate our bodies in motion once again when this crisis has passed. We are also finding ways to serve our community in new ways as we adapt like so many other nonprofits to the ever-evolving news cycle. We've been in conversation with CLIF bar and other sponsors to make sure that these healthy snacks go to local school food pantries and will offer ways that you and your family can stay active and safe.

We find hope by looking to our future together. As our races grow, there is an increased need for portable AEDs to have on hand to keep all participants safe. As we pivot in this crisis, we're asking you to help us raise the money to purchase two AEDs to keep our running community safe. Can you donate $25 or more to help us prepare for the future in which we get to run with you again?
