We have Great news! The Rodrigues are adopting!

Adoption has always had a special place in our hearts.

We have always hoped to adopt, we just never knew when that time would be. After a couple years of failed infertility, many doctor's appointments and infertility treatments, the Lord led us to adoption. We are so thrilled to be on this journey and are anxiously awaiting the child the Lord has planned for us.

We are adopting an infant from the Uganda through the Carolina Adoption Services. We don’t know when our baby will arrive, what he will look like or talk like, or which football team they will root for on Sundays, the New England Patriots for Mommy or the Saints for Daddy!

The unknowns scare us, and we do not do well without a plan, but if there is one thing the Lord has taught us through this journey the past year, it is that we can trust Him no matter what and that His plan is always what is best for us. We can't wait to bring home our sweet baby and see the plan God has for us unfold!

As we enter 2016, and we plan to make this OUR year to bring our baby home, we will continue to be counting pennies, working extra jobs, and saving like crazy in order to make ends meet.

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to help raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. We have a donations goal of $25,000 that will go towards the cost of the adoption. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.
