About this Fundraiser

In the far SW region of Uganda lies the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the home of half of the world's population of Mountain Gorillas. Until just recently, the gorillas shared the forest with an unreached people group called the Batwa (the pygmies or "short people"). In the early 1990's, the government began to evict the Batwa from their jungle home in order to provide a refuge for the gorillas. Now the Batwa are struggling to adapt to their new environment in the Kisoro region. Our team will work with the local Kisoro churches to evangelize and disciple the Batwa and establish several new, 3rd generational churches there. We invite you to join us in this exciting Kingdom adventure.
