Hello friends and family! Thank you for your interest in supporting me as I prepare to go on this trip to serve children experiencing disability in Nicaragua! This trip not only helps children and families in need, but it counts toward my curriculum as an elective class. I am excited to partner with 99 Balloons on this trip and to be able to visit and support one of their global partners. During our time in Nicaragua, we will be observing, learning, teaching, and providing physical therapy to children who have limited access to therapy at a local community center and in homes. The story of disability is often one of isolation and poverty, and we want to help change that as we support parents, local therapists, teachers, and community center staff.

In order to participate in this trip, I need to fundraise $3,000 before February 1st, 2024. 99 Balloons' trip Description:
Participants will be supporting 99 Balloons' Global Patterns in Nicaragua. In addition to experiencing the story of disability in Nicaragua, team members will provide physical therapy training for local physical therapist, direct care for kids with disabilities, and therapy training/equipping for patients and workers. The team will be working at a community center that serves children, parents, and families experiencing disability though therapy, parenting classes, home visits and special education support.

Trip Cost includes airfare, room and board, meals, travel insurance, baggage fees, emergency and admin fees, and special project for global partners.
