Short term mission work has changed my life.

After my second mission trip to Colombia Jeff Thompson, our trip leader, approached me about taking what we had learned in training for Colombia and using it in our home town. I accepted that challenge along with several others form our church who also went to Colombia with us. So we started a small group, prepared and prayed up for several weeks then hit the streets of Midlothian to be a blessing to our community.

Funny thing about missions, God can use them to change your heart immensely if you let Him. And if you let Him, He will use you to impact even your home town for the gospel.

As I am preparing for my third trip to Colombia I am excited to see what God will teach me next. Please pray that God will grow me in my faith and show me more of His Glory.
