Hi!!

Romans 10:15 says “And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” I have the amazing opportunity to go on a missions trip with my youth group to Cristo Rey, again!! Last summer this trip completely rocked my world, and I cannot wait to go back and see what Jesus will do through me this time. The love I felt and the faith I experienced are beyond words. The people of Cristo Rey have a love that pierces through the darkest parts of your world, and their faith breaks the darkness that often overcomes us in our everyday lives. I know that I go there to be the hands and feet of Jesus, but I cannot help but wonder if they impact me more than I impact them.

The grace I experienced on my last trip has continued to move through me, and I cannot wait to have the ability to bring more love to those in Cristo Rey. My sponsor girl Diana has just started school and I cannot wait to hear her stories of how great it is for her. Jesus is once again calling me out of my comfort zone in order to be a light for those who have been mine when I needed it most. 

Also, I have the incredible opportunity to stay a few extra days with my fellow seniors and spend a week in the country that has changed all of our hearts.  I am so excited for this trip, I can already feel God moving through us as the energy mounts in preparation for this.  Please keep my youth group in your prayers as we all begin the incredible journey leading us back to share love, life, and care for the beautiful children in Cristo Rey.
