As many of you know, we've prayed for a baby to be welcomed into our family for many years. After struggling over 5 years with infertility, we've decided to pursue the best adventure we'll ever be on.. adoption.We're so excited to give a child an opportunity to grow up in our home and teach him or her the best things that we know.

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. Many know that adoption is a costly process, but don't understand just how costly it can be. We're currently facing a total bill close to $28,000. The fees cover everything from the Home Study, training we must complete in person at our agency, background checks, cost of working with our amazing social worker, prenatal help for the birth mother, placement of baby Powell when the time comes, and legal fees involved. Our agency highly suggest doing the charitable fundraising websites such as Pure Charity (similar to Go Fund Me, but better!) to help reach adoption goals. We were on the fence about asking for donations and help, but all our family and friends we spoke with told us we'd be crazy not to start a fundraising page. It made our heart happy to see how loved we really are, and how many genuinely cannot wait for us to have a baby grow in our hearts, and be welcomed into our home.

The funds will go 100% towards our fees. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.
