GREAT NEWS! The Palmers are adopting again! We have been matched with a 5 year old beauty and will be traveling in April or May, 2015.

Adoption is a dance between a family and a child. It's a melding of a loving family with a child who needs a home. We have been touched by adoption. We adopted our little boy 7 years ago. He is amazing. We have learned more about acceptance, love, trust and  commitment through adoption than by any other way.

So, here we go back across the ocean to adopt our daughter. She is no longer an orphan. We are her family. She is waiting for us. She is our Jade.

We get asked lots of questions about our desire to adopt, adoption costs, our retirement someday. The answers all point back to a calling we've heard. We are privileged to answer that call. We want to travel the road our family was meant to journey. Our lives are richer because we have children to love.

Adoption costs consist of document gathering, agency fees, travel and orphanage donations. Added up the costs seem too high. Trust me, Jade is worth every penny. She will have opportunities to be anything she wants to be. Maybe she will find the cure for cancer, or fly to the moon, run a marathon or be a mother. The sky is the limit for her.

We know many have hearts for orphans, but not everyone can adopt. We know there are those who would join us by using their resources to bring our daughter home. We have been approached by friends and colleagues wanting to help us along our journey. We so appreciate your support, but mostly your concern for a little girl across the world.

We are using purecharity.com to assist in fundraising. The donations will be disbursed directly to our agency, are tax deductible and very much appreciated.
