Within San Diego, at any given time, there are about 2,100 children in out-of-home care. All children placed in foster care have experienced neglect, abuse, and abandonment. Our fundraising will allow my team to raise funds to offer a week-long camp where foster kids can be kids and give foster parents a week to take care of themselves.

Your contribution can dramatically impact the health and well-being of one of San Diego’s most fragile populations.

As this will be my fourth year volunteering at Royal Family Kids Camp, I know firsthand how much joy this experience brings to the kids. It is a challenging yet rewarding week for us volunteers. The kids that come to camp have experienced uniquely difficult circumstances in their lives and I am honored to once again provide them with a week full of fun activities and loving relationships.
