LLU School of Nursing Botswana SUMMER 2020

Hello Friends & Family,

I am excited to inform you that I have an amazing opportunity to serve overseas this summer in Botswana, which is located in Southern Africa. I have been praying about this opportunity ever since I started nursing school and God has opened up the doors for me to go! Each summer, students from LLU's School of Nursing travel to Botswana as part of their Public Health Nursing (PHN) course. The PHN course works with Primary Health Centers with the goal of optimizing patient wellness and community wellbeing in partnership with local nurses.

Nursing students who have participated in this international experience have found it to be life-changing, eye-opening, and an inspiration for themselves. I would love to learn as much as possible while continuing my nursing and critical thinking skills in the Adventist community.
