Look at the children around you... what is one thing that they all have in common here in the U.S.? They all go to school! Well that is not always the case in Nicaragua.
Nicaragua is the poorest country in Central America, and the 2nd poorest in the western Hemisphere. Many people struggle to keep food on the table and so the simple items needed to attend school, a uniform, books, and shoes are just things that many families cannot afford. Imagine not having the money to send your children to school!
We all know that education can help bring a person out of poverty, but what can a family do if they just simply don't have the funds to send their child to school? Well this is where YOU and the local church can help. E3 Partners exists to Equip, Evangelize and Establish churches in communities in need of the Good News of Jesus Christ. In this project we will be working to Establish the reputation of the local church as a place where families can come and get not only spiritual help but physical help as well.
We are creating this fund to begin to help 22 children in a rural village in Nicaragua get to school this February. Working through a church that we helped to Establish, when we raise the necessary funds we will purchase the necessary items and distribute them through the church. With your one time donation of $100, you can adopt a child and provide shoes, books and a uniform and help change their future and the future of their family! Such a SIMPLE way to help! The new school year starts in February, and some of these children have missed SEVERAL years because of not being able to afford to go. Will you help? TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!
These 22 children will no doubt be just the beginning as we continue to Establish churches throughout Nicaragua, but this is where the Lord has clearly showed us to start.
