Have you heard of "jiggers"?  Check out the Sole Hope website and watch some videos on YouTube.  The Sole Hope team goes into villages to educate and treat children who have contracted "jiggers".  Each child receives a pair of shoes that has been sewn and has a sole made from tires. 

I have been saving old blue jeans and have purchased the template to cut out toddler shoes for children in Uganda.  Every $10 donation will enable me to make a pair of shoes to help others in need.
