Dear Friends and Family,
             Last year 20 of us, 14 players and 6 adults traveled to Cuba to share the Gospel and play baseball.  The trip was absolutely amazing and God was even more amazing in blessing our trip.  Today I write as we have been blessed with a second opportunity to travel back to Cuba with some new players and adults and work with the same pastors and Churches we worked with last year to continue what God started in 2016.  I am asking you take a moment to continue to read below what went on in Cuba and how you can help.  Please understand any amount of contribution will help us continue God's work in a country that so beautiful.
             We traveled to Cuba in June of 2016 with idea of playing baseball and sharing the gospel.  Our team took baseball items and other items with us knowing that at the end of our stay we would leave pretty much everything we came with.  The only thing we took home with us was our empty luggage the clothes on our backs and some Cuban coffee.

            Our days were jammed packed with things to do. Morning breakfast, meet with pastors and local people to share the gospel and encourage them, come home for lunch, play and afternoon game where afterword we would share, come home for dinner then have a church service at the a local church. We fellowshipped with 6 different churches, six different denominations and then would come home for a night’s sleep to do it all again the next day. The kids worked so hard, and gave their hearts and souls to the Cuban people. This trip was a life changer for all of us as in our time there we experienced ourselves the joy of God through the Cuban people. We thought we were going there to encourage them and we ultimately were encouraged. In the end e have received great news of many people coming to Christ and the items we had left behind being used to start youth baseball teams within the 6 different churches who are now branching out to play other teams in other provinces, truly amazing.

            This year we have the opportunity to go back and work with the same great group of people and continue what God started a year ago. However this time we go back with a better idea of other things we can help with. Besides baseball items we are looking to take things like duct tape, shampoo, soap, rechargeable drills, and many other house hold items that are not available to the Cuban people. I am excited to see what they can do with duct tape as the Cuban people are amazing engineers with very little to work with. We might be able to build a whole new Church building with duct tape, I wouldn’t put it past them.

            I am asking that you consider donating whatever amount comes to your heart, anything a dollar helps and of course prayers are always welcomed. The price of the trip has gone up this year to 2400.00 dollars per-person and my son Trevor and myself will be going again. Please consider a small gift in order to help Trevor and me reach out to some beautiful people to help them, to share the Gospel and bring hope to people who can use a lot of Hope. The Bible tells us to go out into the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
